ギークな歌手、Jonathan Coulton氏

最近は曲の紹介ばかりしていますが、今回もJonathan Coulton氏の曲を紹介します。 “Skullcrusher Mountain” というタイトルの曲でライブでもよく演奏される定番の一曲です。 制作されたのは2004年ですが、その後音楽ゲームの曲として収録されたり、MMORPGのシナリオのモチーフになったりと色々な展開をしています。

まとめ

綺麗なメロディで聴きやすい一方明らかに恐ろしい事態が起こっているストーリーの曲ですね。 歌詞の主体になっている人間が人間なのか化物なのかといったところは解釈が分かれるようです。
